Blaze
Erupting - part of the 1001 Dark Nights line up and anyone who has
every followed my reviews when it comes to this series knows i
absolutely can't get over how much i love them. It's also written by
Rebecca Zanetti, an author that i've met through the 1001 Dark Nights.
There's a reason why i love these types of books - i've personally never
really had a chance to follow the Scorpius Syndrome series and yet,
this book is part of that series and while there is much back story that
i don't know, i didn't feel like a chicken with its head cut off. It
felt like i was jumping in a new series and my curiosity is picked on
the who is who between the other characters and how they ended up where
they did.
This
is a short read - i highly doubt that's any surprise anymore, it took
me roughly an hour or two to go through the book, but it was
entertaining. There was a bit of everything in there - drama, suspense,
romance galore and so much tension that you could almost cut it with a
knife what with the history backing almost a decade between Hugh and
Eleanore. I enjoyed it and know that i'll be looking forward to more
from this author in the future, and of course from this lineup. I
wouldn't be surprised if i end up with the rest of the Scorpius Syndrome
series on my kindle before the year is up just so that i can catch up
on the rest of these fascinating characters.
