I hadn't heard of Morgan Reeves until i picked up Bedroom Hymns. Considering that dark romances have been my go to book lately, i had hoped that the story would keep my attention once i got into it and boy was i happy that it did that and so much more. Sophia may have been the girl taken off the streets to continue the empire that Cole, Dominic and John took from their own owners, but she's absolutely a force to be reckoned with when it comes to revenge. One thing i can say about her - she won't be going down easy nor without a fight.




It was dark, yes, but what captivated me was the suspense - how would Sophia pay back her captors? How far would Cole go to make sure he'd be the only one to own this girl who even surprised me. This was one book that even i couldn't guess what would happen next but connected with me in more ways than one. I whole heartedly loved this book and can only hope that i'll be able to read more from this author in the future.
