Holy mother of pearls! At the time of writing my review, I'm unsure if
this is Cara Chance's first published novel or not, but either way, what a
great read! It was a novella that took me less than an hour and a half to read
(maybe even less) and I only wish it were longer. Just when I didn't think Cara
Chance could surprise me more or make me second guess myself at what could potentially
happen, I get to a new part in the story that I never (and I really do mean
never) expected! That's what made it interesting and captivating - the fact
that I couldn't possibly guess what was going to happen next.
To say that Gabe (AKA Stepdaddy stripper) is sexy as sin would be an understatement.
The man exudes sex. As for our heroine Katie, she's a woman on a mission and
when she has a goal in mind, nothing is about to detract her from it. Cara
Chance doesn't over indulge when it came to the more sexual scenes in her
story, but neither did it take away from how 'stimulating' it was; it let her
readers use their own imaginations and all the while be engrossed in what's
happening. Stepdaddy Stripper was exactly the type of novella that readers
should indulge and I for one can't wait to read what else she comes up with.
