Holy crap! Someone give me a bucket of water or get out of my way so i can get my hands on that cold shower i needed after reading His Undeniable Secret by Shayla Black. Kayla and Oliver's story had me wanting more; it was over way too quickly and heck if it didn't make me wonder if there was more to this story than what i read. It's the type of book that i was able to quickly read (30 minutes for me, but some may take a bit longer) and the perfect one to read in between two other books.
These two didn't waste any time whatsoever to tell each other how they felt - then again, they've been living together for the past few years and have liked each other from afar, afraid to make a move because of Kayla's brother. But when Oliver's protective nature comes out raging after seeing a picture that was texted to Kayla, all bets are off, and what a hookup it was. I wish it was longer, mostly because i love the way that Shayla Black writes. It's the type of novel that makes your skin warmer, your heart race and of course, wanting to reach for another of her novels. I can't wait to read more from her since i've been a fan for longer than i can remember and i absolutely look forward to her next release!
