I was intrigued to read a novel about a male and female submissive's perspective with that added touch of suspense that kept me at the edge of my seat. Kailee Reese Samuels, which I've never had the chance to read from until now, has a way of spinning a tale in such a way that you don't see the time pass by until you lift your head from your book and realize that hours have gone by without your knowledge. Sal is asked for specific information about his former Mistress and all he wants in return is the whereabouts of the one girl he wished he could have for himself- for him to protect, cherish, love and dominate.
Don't let the fact that Sal used to have a Mistress - this man knows exactly how to dominate a woman, to make her submit and especially hot to make her body shake with need. I said it earlier and I'll say it again: I was at the edge of my seat and absolutely captivated by the way she ended up spinning her tale. This is one series that I'll be rereading to find out what happens to all the characters and watch the evolution of this author as she releases each new novel.
