What was it about Mason that made you need to know his story? if you've read any of [the books] The Pawn, The Knight or The Castle, then you've already gotten a taste of what he becomes. But the biggest question really is, how did he get there? The Prince was and is the beginning of Mason and Penny's story. It wets your appetite and before you know it, you're at the end of the short story, a little more knowing on just what happened to Mason and why he did what he ultimately did. Was this short story worth it? Absolutely! I can't wait for The King to find out what else happens to these two.

After the Endgame series, Skye Warren created a monster in me - i wanted to know so much more about the players that she introduced us to and i know that she heard the many voices of her readers asking for the same thing. One thing's for certain - Mason's story was nothing like i had imagined but everything i could have hoped for in this illusive man's story.
Having had read The Prince beforehand, i now knew how it was that Mason and Penny first got together and their relationship was forged. I wish i could say that i had enough with The King - that all my questions were answered but i can't since so many more popped up in the mean time and their relationship more than a little intriguing. With each new book that Skye Warren releases, they simply get better and better and one thing's for certain, i look forward to watching her be spectacular.
