I didn't know when i picked up this book that it was part of a series. And as much as i can say that i enjoyed this book, i can't help but feel as though i missed something for not doing so; maybe a little bit of history on the characters and about the movie studio that is Quantum. I honestly thought, because seriously i do know better and shouldn't judge a book by its cover but i did exactly that, i thought i was reading a book about agents and spies, so i was surprise to find out it was the complete opposite - in a good way.

Since this was my first book by MS Force, i liked how she incorporated the drama that i personally imagine surrounds Hollywood and that cutthroat industry that tries to constantly outdo one another to become bigger and brighter than the one before them. It was the kind of book that although could be read as a standalone and still be able to follow the storyline, it made me curious on what happened in the previous books, which i will probably do before getting my hands on the next MS Force novel/release.
