Oh yes!!! Willow Winters is amazing at Mafia Romances. Very few authors are able to make chills run down my arms and spine when it comes to this genre without having to resort to the very dark aspects of this type of novel, and yet, this author has easily managed that. Now, don't get me wrong, i have this little gleeful aspect of myself that secretly loves the extremely dark mafia romances because there are so many possibilities, i couldn't quite guess them even if i tried.
Merciless has the emotional aspect of Mafia romances that i really enjoy. Considering that so many movies, other books and biographies mention that family are always the foremost in this genre, i really enjoyed the fact that Willow Winters worked that. Carter is there to protect what's his and his family - he understands his brothers in ways that no one else could, and yet, when it comes to Aria, he has a 'soft' spot for her. He'll be the one to break her, to make her submit and make her do what he wants, but no one had better touch her in any way or he'll destroy them. **cue the swoon actions here**
It's suspenseful. It's captivating. But most of all, this book is unforgettable. There's a reason why i keep coming back to her books, and Merciless absolutely proves why. This is a story that i can't wait to read again to find out if i missed anything before hand, but it's also a book that makes me more than a little excited to find out how this author will top in the future!
