Tacet a Mortuis (Whispers from the Dead) by Amo Jones

Alright. I'm guilty. I didn't read the Broken Puppet before Tacet a Mortuis. I did, however, read The Silver Swan and absolutely love it. Should i have read the Broken Puppet before getting my greedy little hands on this book? Absolutely. There's no denying that if you haven't read the second instalment, Tacet a Mortuis will absolutely divulge all of the secrets that laid within the pages.

That being said: yes! This book was, wow. Bishop and Madison are just drawn to one another like a moth to a flame and i for one, can't get enough of them. Although, i do have to wonder just how much of a masochist these two have to be to keep getting hurt with all the secrets that the Elite Kings Club has hidden from them.

Albeit those little tidbits, you really have to go in this series with an open mind. Many won't like it. Other will absolutely curse the author for her unforseen cliffhangers. There is one thing that is for sure though: when it comes to Amo Jones, either you'll love her, or you'll hate her for putting you through the ringer when it comes to your emotions. That's what i love most about her. I can never really expect the expected, because that'll never happen. I go in expecting nothing and everything and am never disappointed!
