but moving up close to the different stations reminded her of how excited she’d
been when her and her friends toured the club in Atlanta. It had been the first time in her adult life
when sex had appealed to her, and when that Dom had given her a taste of what
she’d been witnessing, and she’d responded to the pain and exposure more than
she ever had to intercourse with her fiancé, she’d discovered she wasn’t the
cold fish Craig often complained she was.

Title: Mastering Her Senses

It's not the first book i read from Laura Kaye, but it sure is the first of The Blasphemy series that i pick up and holey moley is my heart still racing after that one. To watch Quinton search for the perfect partner who is willing and able to push their limits while trusting the Dom to know when to stop had me curious to find out just who could possibly be able to fit the profile. The last thing i ever expected was to find was Cassia, a sub who has a fear of the dark after an accident and has a history with the Dom that hadn't ended quite so well - and yet, he's the only one that she trusts enough to help her get through her fears and hopefully conquer them.
Every emotions, physical response and self doubt - i felt them. Laura Kaye writes such vivid scenes that you can't help but experience them right along with the characters, your breath catching in your throat as you expect the worst but still so very much hoping for the best. I loved this book and one thing is absolutely certain - i'll be following the series alongside all 12 masters from now on.
