You’ve done what’s expected.
You’ve stayed in the “good girl” lane.
How’s that working for you?
If you have a chance at falling in love . . .
Will you take matters into your hands?
Kiss a stranger with wild abandon?
Throw caution to the wind along with your clothes?
Don’t think about the consequences.
Dive into the forbidden, the off-limits.
Be fearless.
Be wild.
Be unpredictable.
Be reckless.
***Each novella in the Reckless anthology is a never before published, swoon-worthy, standalone story by Mika Jolie, Kylie Stewart, P M Carson, and Sharla Lovelace.

Can a fling turn into something real?
When the
world throws me a curveball, I run away from Chicago to Martha’s Vineyard.
Just for a
few days of soul searching before returning to my regular life.
Then I meet
him.
Chance
Santos.
A curious
force draws me to him.
I don’t
believe in insta-love or the myth of happily-ever-after.
But the
chemistry between us is undeniable.
In his
arms, I find passion, learn who I am, and who I want to be.
Logic says
walk away.
We’re
strangers.
Two ships
passing in the night.
Our lives
are too different.
The age gap
too wide.
But I crave
him.
His touch.
His kiss.
His
presence.
Is one
amazing weekend enough to be the start of something?
Should I
flee again?
Or do I
dare take this Chance?
My marriage only lasted three pathetic hours and forty-two
worthless minutes.
I thought coming home would be uncomplicated, that I could
start over.
Then he walked into my life.
Older. Wiser. Dangerous.
Grayson Turner gave me a night of absolute, toe-curling
bliss.
That was supposed to be the end.
Only his rough edges cut me open, and I can feel again.
My marriage crumbled after I caught my ex-wife in a lie.
I’ve had enough of the BS and games that go along with love.
And then I caught sight of Gemma Castile standing in my
house.
Instantly, she seeps under my skin.
She’s twenty-eight and I’m forty.
One night of reckless passion.
That’s all it was supposed to be.
Together, we ventured into the deep …
Drew
Canelli likes his women the way he likes his martinis.
Warm,
sexy and in various flavors.
Shaken or
stirred, classic and swank, original or edgy.
He loves
them all.
The dirtier
the better.
All the
pleasure with no ill effects. No interference. No dependency.
Once
satisfied, he leaves the glass empty.
Every
time.
Until a
fresh shiny label, unique in style and garnish, appears.
Rachel
Daine.
Strong.
Heady. Habit forming. One sip leaves Drew a staggering drunk.
Hooked and
hung over, cold turkey is his only hope.
But this
time, he can’t resist the potent mix that promises to bite him back.
*Dirty
Martinis is a modern spin on the traditional cocktail.
Ava
James might have lost her mind.
She
definitely lost her job.
Quit,
actually—over the phone—with a boss more intimidating than God, after finding
out that he gave her promotion to a manipulative, scheming sleazebag.
Off the
rails with rage, predictable, rigid, all-work-and-no-play Ava decides to let
her wild side fly.
What work
trip? A long weekend in the Caribbean sounds better.
And the
broody but hot stranger she can’t seem to shake? He’s getting under her skin in
a very tasty way.
Dominic
West is a highly trained covert operative looking to avenge his brother's death,
but he never imagined that dark path involving her.
Ava James.
The face he
has tracked from afar for years, and the one person who showed his broken
brother kindness.
She’s being
set up to fall or to die, and he can’t let either happen. Ava wears a tough
shell, but up close—dangerously close—he sees her.
All of her.
And now
she’s suddenly someone he needs to protect as much as betray.

Title: Waiting For Autumn
Author: J.A. DeRouen
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: October 25, 2018
Release Date: October 25, 2018

“Race me for it.”
Four simple words. Five desolate years.
Sebastian Kelly believes he isn’t worthy of redemption, of a chance to right his wrongs. But an unexpected trip home, the place he dreads most, calls in question everything he’s come to believe. And who knows, he may find exactly what he’s been waiting for.
Autumn
One broken promise. Two pink lines.
Autumn Norris knew in an instant her life would never be the same. Years have flown by in a flurry of sparkles and dress up, and Autumn has refused to let the anchor of regret pull her under.
Until she lays eyes on Sebastian, and the wave of why, where, and how could you flood her every thought.
Old hurt and new betrayal twist first love into a reluctant partnership, and theirs may be a bond even pigtails and butterfly kisses can’t mend. But the past five years have felt like a lifetime, and Seb is willing to wait as long as it takes.
Because the truth is, he’s always been waiting for Autumn.

“This author again floors me. She brings together a Story about love, loss, and a forever that nobody can touch.” - Books and Bandanas
“My Lord, this book was the most uplifting thing I’ve ever read.” - Little Red Reading Hood
“...J.A. DeRouen's exquisitely beautiful writing to all of that and you have the makings of this 5-Star read…” - Bewitched Reader

J.A. Derouen lives in South Louisiana with her husband, son (aptly nicknamed "The Professor"), and her furry friend, Scout. She has a bachelor’s degrees in psychology and nursing. When she's not writing or inhaling romance novels by the stack, she works as a women's health nurse. She’s been an avid reader and daydreamer since childhood, and she's never stopped turning the page to get to the next happily ever after.

Sexiest man alive.
Playboy movie star.
Reckless actor.
Will Baker, better known
as “Fitz,” is back, and the world has questions.
Where did he go?
Why is he back?
Who is Maggie
Sharp, the girl who found him?
As Will and Maggie
flee her family’s troubles, they return to a world most only dream of, where
privacy belongs to the highest bidders, and loving Will might cost Maggie
everything she has.
Secrets mean
betrayal, and Will’s are bigger than most.
As he returns to a
life of wealth and excess, will he fall back into his old vices too? Or is
loving Maggie Sharp the one thing that will save him?
Nicole French is an East Coast/West Coast hybrid creature,
Springsteen fanatic, hopeless romantic, and total bookworm. When not writing
fiction or teaching writing classes, she is hanging out with her family,
playing soccer with the rest of the thirty-plus crowd in Seattle, or going on
dates with her husband. In her spare time, she likes to go running with her
dog, Greta, or practice the piano, but never seems to do either one of these
things as much as she should.

Blurb:
I’m a priest, a messenger of God, a good man. At least that’s what I would have them all believe.
She’s a lost lamb, cast adrift from her flock and seeking shelter from the wolves snapping at her heels. She’s looking for salvation, protection, forgiveness for her sins. I’m not the man to give it to her. But for the first time in my life, I want to be.
Little does she know…
For even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Yeah. I didn't sleep last night. Like at all. Not only was my brain going on over drive over other projects, but it also kept coming back to Judas and Delilah. This book was fascinating. I couldn't get enough of it and i wanted more.
More than once i wondered if there was more to this story that i haven't seen yet, if it's part of a new series or of an existing one. And most of all, i wanted more!! Who in the world are the Kingsleys? Needless to say that i'm really hoping that LP Lovell will make the decision to give us more of this family to show us what's to become of Saint, Judas and Jace because they are interesting to say the least.
I'm used to this author's darker stories, and even had the chance to read her contemporary romances that tore me to shreds and The Pope fell right in between. Dark enough to satisfy that craving for dark, and enough 'falling in love stuff' to make you giddy inside when you least expect it.
Honestly, i'm really looking forward to more of this family and i can only hope that we'll get more of Judas and Delilah in the future because, wow.
