Three Bridesmaids. Three lost loves. One matchmaking bride.
With just a week before the wedding, can a bride-to-be reunite her bridesmaids
with the ones who got away?
When Anna Maria Costado is caught having a meltdown on live
television, her contract as a nighttime tv star is in danger of being
cancelled. Taking a much needed break, she returns home to Texas for a friend's
wedding and is faced with the man she left behind, the only man she ever
loved, Wyatt Turner.
After a knee injury sidelined his professional football
career, Wyatt Turner returned to his alma mater as a football coach. Trying to
rebuild a new life, Wyatt buries himself in coaching. Just when he thinks he
has moved on from the past, a friend's wedding reunites him with the woman he
once loved and lost, along with his dreams.
Can Anna and Wyatt overcome the circumstances of their past

He gently
brushed her lips with his, a light caress that took her breath away for all its
sweetness and tenderness. Anna had experienced all sorts of kisses on the set
of Blazing Passions from many men,
most of whom had been coached on technique and style. They could all take
lessons from Wyatt in the art of seduction.
She moaned
and pressed against him, loving the feel of his body against hers. He took that
as a sign and lowered his head, his lips claiming hers in a deeper kiss, more
powerful and controlling, reminding her no one had ever kissed her like he did
and no one ever would. His hands dropped and lifted her, hauling her up so she
could feel the press of his erection against her stomach and heat flooded her.
Thank goodness, he was holding her up as her knees could no longer support her.
His tongue
slid alone the seam of her mouth, slipping inside to tease her, the taste of
beer and cotton candy mixing for a heady cocktail. Anna’s head spun with
emotions she hadn’t let herself feel in years, not since Wyatt, if she wanted
to be honest. She hadn’t trusted another man since him. Not that there hadn’t
been others, but not as many as the tabloids alleged, and none ever made her
feel on fire as Wyatt did, as if she were burning from the inside, flaming out
from the sensations.
He trailed
kisses along her jawline to the sensitive spot behind her ear, her head fell
back, and she shuddered as chills raced down her spine. She had missed this,
had missed Wyatt. She didn’t know where they were going, or even if they had
gotten over the past, but nothing had ever felt more right than this moment, in
his arms.
Slowly,
Wyatt pulled away, his breathing rough and harsh in the quiet night. He stared
down at her, the intensity in his gaze pinning her in place, thrilling her, but
terrifying her at the same time. What were they doing? How could she walk away
from him a second time? How could she survive it?
“Go to bed,
Anna. Before we both do something stupid.”
She fled
before she could second-guess or make an even bigger mistake than kissing
Wyatt. Like begging him to stay with her.

She raised up on tiptoes, lips inches from his. "I can't wait any longer. I want my prize."
He groaned and wrapped a hand around her waist, hauling her up against him. She pressed her lips against his, and she ran her tongue along the seam of his until he opened and let her inside. Drugged with power, feeling more in control than ever before, she pressed her advantage, plastering herself against his long frame, feeling the evidence of his arousal against her throbbing core. Her panties dampened and she moaned against his mouth, her control slipping away rapidly, along with all her inhibitions and reservations about the evening, Ethan, and herself.
He slid his hands down to lightly skim her ass then cup both globes and pull her closer. In a sudden move, he shifted positions, never breaking their lips, and pinned her against the wall. She gasped and broke the kiss, the world tilting dangerously around her. She rested her head against the cool brick, and he trailed kisses down her exposed throat. He pushed aside the shoulder of the tank top and placed a kiss at the top of her shoulder. His hand stroked down her arm and under her shirt to tease her breasts through the lace of her bra.
She moaned at the sensations coursing through her, burning up from the inside, feelings and emotions buffeting her from all angles, like the waves in the ocean. She throbbed deep inside and she pressed her legs together to find some relief. He chuckled against her shoulder and wedged a thigh between hers, forcing them apart. She wrapped her leg around his, hiking it as high as she could. He dropped a hand to her thigh and pulled her up and closer to him, until only a few layers of fabric were between his cock and her slit, begging for him. She arched closer to him, pleading for his touch, for relief, for anything. His hand slipped under her thigh and higher, close to her aching core. His other hand kneaded her breast, his thumb rubbing against her nipple through the lace, the rough lace creating deeper friction and heat than she had ever expected. It was all she could to hold on. He was her anchor in a roiling sea of emotions and she needed relief.

She stretched up on tiptoes and placed a kiss on the corner of his mouth. He turned, a look of surprise on his face. "What was that for?"
She shrugged. "For being you."
He pulled her closer, her hips snug against him. "I think I deserve a little more than a quick peck on the cheek."
She arched a brow, loving this playful side of the normally quiet, staid, and serious man. "Really? That wasn't on your cheek but on the lips. Sort of."
He snorted. "Not a real kiss. Not like this."
He slid a hand down her back to cup her butt through her jean shorts and pull her against him. He lowered his head, pausing centimeters from her lips, pausing for one moment as if waiting for permission, or for her to pull back. When she didn't, he pressed his lips to hers, passion infusing his kiss, heat rising quickly between them. She moaned and twined her hands behind his neck, entangling them in his hair, pulling his head down for a deeper embrace. His tongue teased at the seam of her lips and she opened them, eagerly tangling with his, tasting coffee, cinnamon, and a hint of something else, something she wanted more of, was starving for. And that scared her more than losing a dog.

Lust overshadowed the fear and she angled her head to deepen the connection, for once, letting feelings overtake sense. She tangled her fingers in his hair, feeling the silky strands rub against her skin. His tongue stroked hers, and his hands slipped under her shirt to caress the bare skin between her shorts and t-shirt. She moaned and arched into his hand.
