We're back with Tristan and Isabel
and their adventure, only this time, they're in the States. Strong women
are something to behold, but when they go out of their way to go
against someone who has experience in killing others and wants to
protect you... well, you have to wonder if they're either stupid or
think they're indestructible. My opinion about this is out for the time
being as i haven't had a chance to read their third instalment of the
series.
But i do have to say that i'm glad to know
that Tristan is getting his memories little by little, and i can only
hope that he'll eventually have them all so we can finally know whether
he felt as strongly about Isabel as she does him. Needless to say that
Meredith Wild really knows how to write a story that will make you want
to stick with it from start to finish.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I'm a fan of these two authors. When it comes to penning stories, they absolutely know how to write them so that you stand up and pay attention, and get lost in the storyline as well as the various characters. Whether this is their first collaboration together, i'm not sure, but one thing i know it that this story is completely different from all of the ones they've previously released, even their duets wth other authors.
Misadventures Of A City Girl is a quick feels kind of story that shows you that love can hit you when you least expect it, even when you're broken or hurting deep. I liked the fact that Madison knows what's in her heart and will go after it, while Luke takes every day as though it's his last, living it as best as he can considering his past. It's a somewhat quick read, i know that i read it faster than i expected, the scenes hotter than i could have imagined, and i was able to connect with the characters in more ways than one. Knowing that i'll get to read more of this series makes me excited to find out what'll happen to more characters and i look forward to it!
