Chapter 1
I push the thought of my mother's call away and concentrate on my friend, Shana. As I do, the slippery napkin escapes my hold. Quickly, I slide from my seat to retrieve it."Excuse me," a deep voice says as black leather loafers stop precariously close to where I'm now kneeling to rescue my napkin.

I don’t think i’ve ever had the chance to read a novel written by M.N. Forgy before, but as her alter ego, Missy Blake, Plus One was the perfect start up. It made me laugh and then shake my head in astonishment as I watched Rae and Max try to fake their relationship and pass it off as real to their families so they’d stop trying to set them up on various dates.
Who knew that faking it could mean so much fun and pleasure? Rae was hilarious and down to earth, while Max was cocky and drool worthy. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the relationship go from fake to something more real than either ever imagined. Considering this is an alter ego, I wonder just how different M.N. Forgy’s writing style differs to this one… I know i’ll be looking forward to finding out very soon.
