Only the acceptance of who she must become will set her free.

Liam Vokov is on the run. He has become the monster that Genesis fears they all are. The love and trust between them is broken. The only way to free himself from the agony of becoming someone he hates is to face the consequences of his actions. He must cleanse himself for redemption.

With the prophecy looming over them, they find themselves at a crossroad. Can they learn to accept their fate and find their way back to one another or will their path lead to destruction?

The Healer: Book Three

I was nothing, a washed up, useless nobody to them. The angered look that permanently etched my face wasn't new for any of them. The resting bitch face was something that defined me, Davina, the spoiled, unhappy, selfish brat. I suppose they were right about that. I really wasn't a happy go lucky girl. I didn't carry around a cheery disposition. I didn't grow up showered with love and affection or dolls and ponies. I wasn't a pampered princess like that.

No. I was raised with wolves.

The Alpha: Book Four

Death.

It is the end for all. But it is not when or how we die that is important. What matters is what is done with one's life before that final journey is made. The choices that one makes leads to a series of consequences, both good and bad. Our choices define who we are and who will become. I have made decisions in my life that will forever haunt me. Their affects are unable to be reversed. But someone has to make those final judgements and that someone is me.

I bear the burden for my family. I make the executive decisions and lead them to where they must go so that they do not have to suffer the negative consequences. I will carry that responsibility for them because they are my brothers, my sons, my friends, my partners, and most importantly they are my family. I will do whatever it takes to protect and provide for them. I will kill for them, fight for them, lie for them, and I will die for them.

I am their Alpha.

To discover who she is, she must first believe

Excerpt

I heard the whistle of the metal when it was unsheathed from its case. The blade vibrated quickly from the slick movement. I felt the sharp point when the young man, his face hidden by the shadows, pressed it into my cheek. It sliced my face open with little pressure. It was well kept and sharp, So sharp it could easily cut through bone.

The blade was pressed against my neck, ready to slice it open and drain out every drop of my blood. I closed my eyes and tears spilled out. This was it. My life would end at their mercy to finally give me the death that I deserved. I thought of the night I first saw her. Genesis. My love. Seeing the terror on her face as she fled for her life broke my heart. I was glad I made the choice to step in and defend her then. It was no different with Thomas, and if dying at their hands meant she lived for eternity because of that one choice, then I served my purpose.

I remembered the way her lips felt the first time I had kissed her. I had taken away her heartache, if only for a moment. It was blissful. Her kiss was a sweet as hone. I would never get to kiss those gentle lips again. Every one of my choices were worth it to have had her love for the time I did. Every argument, every kiss, every stolen touch, all of it worth it. I would do it all again for her if it meant that she would live on.

I felt the sharp edge cut slowly into my skin. The blood trickled down my throat as the sharp point found the vain in my neck that it was looking for. I was ready. Death had finally found me.

Excerpt

"Please! I'm not the Accalia as you all believe. I cannot be her." I looked around at them, their eyes locked onto me as I denied their silly prophecy. "I'm not a savior. I'm not the girl they describe in here. I don't have the power or strength to stop whatever it is the Accalia's meant to stop. I'm just me. I am just a normal girl who graduated high school a few weeks ago. I'm sorry, but I'm not who you think I am."

I was apologetic, but firm. I couldn't be what they wanted me to be. I just wasn't that girl. The only love I had ever knows was the love I had for Aunt Cammie, and until I met Madeline, I hadn't loved a friend before. They expected me to be this all powerful, unconditional loving, Accalia, but I was nobody.

"You are the Accalia, Genesis, and you will come to realize the importance of it in time. You are also my daughter and both roles come with responsibilities and expectations."
