Title: I Wanna Text You Up
Author: Teagan Hunter
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: February 1, 2018
He was also the last person on earth I’d agree to let live with me…on purpose.
But, here we are—roommates. I’m certain we can coexist without it being awkward, and I’m determined to make it work. There will be no sexual tension building with each accidental touch, no flutters when he wears that stupid backward baseball cap, and definitely no flirting when we text back and forth.
Caleb Mills can’t be the guy for me. He’s my best friend’s ex-boyfriend.
And that would be wrong…right?
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Oh
my goodness did i ever laugh when i read this book. It was totally
insane on how much i heard myself - admittedly, i speak like that with
my bestie, and she's female, so we really tone down the flirting aspect
of it all, but i think that you get the gist of it. This was... well,
pretty much what i love about college genre romance novels - they're
sugary sweet, but not too much so that you get cavities. They're funny
because the whole 'your ex is a douche canoe and is coming after you to
kill you' drama isn't there like you would with older type characters.
And they're just so damn adorable. I mean, they made me laugh. And they
even followed the girl code (which i personally had no freaking clue
existed... but then again, i don't think i've ever come across the
situation where i was attracted to my best friend's ex... that could
have been soooooo awkward. I digress.
Teagan
Hunter - bravo! Seriously, i don't read many authors who write college
romances because there's only so much of this genre that you can take
before the stories seem to be all alike, and I Wanna Text You Up was
totally different. I loved it. I couldn't get enough.
Let's
face it... when you have Rocky Horror gold spanx wearing hot baseball
players and the burning water while distracted by a kitten artistic
woman get together, there is no dull moment and there was no way i was
able to walk away and not find out what would have happened to these
two.

By day I’m a freelance cover designer. By every other free moment, a writer. I’m a Missouri raised gal, but I currently live in North Carolina with my US Marine husband where I spend my days begging him for a cat. I survive off coffee, pizza, and sarcasm. When I’m not writing, you can find me binge-watching various TV shows, especially Supernatural and One Tree Hill. I like cold weather, buy more paperbacks than I’ll ever read, and I never say no to brownies.
