LP Lovell is the kind of author that has the ability to write just about any genre of books and makes you really love that book. I've had the opportunity to read quite a few of her books and love how she brings her stories and characters to life. Most of the works that i've read by this author was her collaborations with Stevie J. Cole and from one book to the next, there's just no real way to be fully prepared for what they'll deliver.

Hate Me was a mix of everything - part emotional, part dark and part mafia/suspense that drew me in like nobody's business. You'd think that Rafael was the complete heartless man that so many of his profession often claim to be, but when it comes to Anna, this man is all heart and thoughts. He surprised me more often than i can count since he's looking out for this girl that claims to be nothing more than what she's been trained to be. This girl is quite the mystery - she has a history and a past that is unknown and yet i'm curious to know. It seems that very few know who she really is and LP Lovell really knows how to draw out her book so that from start to finish, you feel the need to keep reading

This was an interesting and captivating first instalment to this author's newest series and i look forward to finding out more about this family and what'll happen to Anna and Rafael in the future.
