F R O S T
Ella
Since I was a little girl, I have been surrounded by hate, death, murder, and
slavery. I’ve been guarded my whole life by my brother—Raze, the kingpin of the
underworld and the most feared individual in the United States of America. And
then further more guarded when I found out the president of The Devil’s Own MC
was my long lost half-brother. Being tossed around from one extreme protection
to another has left a part of me yearning to break out of it's cage. The part
that I've tried to sugar coat and hide, because if she's unleashed, everyone
would see just how much like my brothers I am.
Panting, wanting, needing to unleash the side of me I’ve always known was
there.
My secret is mine and my brothers.
Only they know what I hide and why I hide it. How I fight for love because if I
don't, my rage would win and I’d be a mere shadow of the girl people have grown
to know.
But I broke.
And the man who held the hammer that shattered the walls I spent years building
to cage in my rage—was a psychopath.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Before this book, I had only read one book by Amo Jones, so i wasn't entirely prepared for what Razing Grace (part 1) would be all about. I thought that Crowned By Hate was all dark and gritty (which it is for many reasons) but all of a sudden it felt like puppies and kittens compared to this book.
But the last thing i expected was the tears. This book touched me in ways i never expected. So... Razing Grace:
#mindf*ck: Check
Dark Romance: Check
Gritty and dirty: Check
Tear Jerker: Damn. Yes. Check.
Every moment i didn't sleep or do anything productive because i read this book was totally worth it and i'd do it all over again in a heartbeat because it was that great of a story!

If i thought that the first book to this duet had made me cry, nothing prepared me for the second one. I was bawling. I totally hated every moment of my tears because it destroyed me. In a few chapters, Amo Jones put every single fear, sadness, hopes and dreams of a parent on paper and made them real - that was frightening. However, the best part? The revenge! Hands down, my favorite part. No matter how gruesome it was.
After having had the chance to read these three books [so far] from Amo Jones, i've become addicted to her stories. Yes, they push boundaries. No they're not for everyone. Yes they're dark. Not they're not for the faint of heart. But in the end, it's one amazing journey from start to finish!

Holy.
Sh!t.
Seriously, i tend to avoid swearing in my reviews only because i can swear worst than a sailor or a man who just wacked his thumb with a hammer, but this book totally worth swearing after. There's one other author in my entire reading career that has fully managed to make me shudder in disbelief (probably scarily in the good way) at what just happened in their books, and that's K Webster in her War & Peace series, the final instalment of it all.
Amo Jones has officially made me in awe with her ability to make me cringe for the male species. I would never want to come on to Ella's bad side. For a chick who seems so adorable, cute and innocent *hey, her words, not mine*, there's just something about her that doesn't make me want to get her in my sights. Although i'm sure that it would be a sight to behold. Hold up! No! Bad me. If you think Raze and the 6 are something, she's just... something else entirely.
While reading this book, i had this strong feeling that we were getting a glimpse of this author's actual life through Ella- how she thinks, behaves and how fiercely she'll protect her family against just about anything. And when i say that Ella makes Millie look like a toy poodle, when you'll read this book, you'll understand why. Frost, for a man who admits he's a psychopath... well hit me on the head with a 4x4 because i can totally see the allure of him. And it's pretty scary. I started this book at 3 pm on sunday. By 11.30pm on the same day, i had finally finished this book refusing to go to bed until i had done so. It's the kind of book that you know you should take your time to enjoy and savour, but yeah. That totally did NOT happen with me. Instead i plowed through this thing and hoped i wouldn't crash and burn.
The only thing i can hope for is that Miles' story will manage to answer all of those pesky questions i may have - which aren't popping in my head right now since i'm slightly still under shock, but they are there and they aren't leaving, trust me.

Amo is a full-time writer from New Zealand who loves long
romantic walks to the wine cellar.
She loves to write like how she lives, hanging on the edge of insanity with a

Those are not my monkeys, I swear....
Oh those hellhounds? Yeah, those are mine.
