I really love Kendall Ryan's books - they've always been engaging, entertaining and something easily relatable when it comes to her characters. There's no denying the fact that the Bro Code type novels are something that isn't new to me - i've read quite a few of them so far and can honestly say that i enjoy them, but what this author did was bring it one step further by taking into consideration the professional aspect of it all.

These two characters have one thing in common - Ava's brother, hence the Bro Code. What Kendall Ryan did to make her story memorable was the fact that there was a delicate situation that made it that Barrett and Ava had to define their professional parameters; does Barrett lose his case so that he can win the girl? Or does he do everything there is to do so that he can further his career? I don't envy either characters their current situation because... yeah. This can go so badly in a very short time.

This book was entertaining and it was fun. There was many elements that kept me wanting to keep reading even though i was exhausted beyond anything i could have every imagined! I can't wait to read more from this author in the future since there's just something with the way that she writes that keeps me wanting more.
