Noelle is one of those authors that i enjoy reading - her books are
great entertainment pieces that aren't too long and are perfect for in
between the longer and more intense stories. Her books are the kind that
make you laugh and see the world in a different eye.
I've
read her Deathstalkers series before, mind you, not the entire 10
books, but those i have read, they've made me laugh and they were quite
interesting. They made me want to keep reading more from this author. So
when i saw that she was coming out with a new Deathstalker, i really
wanted to read it. I wanted to know whose story we were getting next.
I
was a bit disappointed with Anarchy - it didn't have the same feel as
the previous books and it was so very hard to connect with the
characters, and maybe it's because i hadn't read Lucy's story beforehand
so i wasn't quite sure what to make of Mary. Mary was an enigma for me -
one moment she was the sexy vixen and the next, the over sheltered girl
from a cult. That i have to give to the author- she described Mary
exactly as i would have expected from a sheltered life, at least that
aspect.
I'll
have to come back to this book later and see if that makes a difference
for me, but considering that it was still entertaining, it's still a
book that others might enjoy.
