Coach Long by K Webster
Coach Everett Long has a chip on his shoulder.
Working every day with the man who stole his
fiancée leaves him pissed and on edge.
His temper is volatile and his attitude sucks.
River Banks is a funky-styled runner
with a bizarre past.
Starting over at a new school was supposed to
be easy…but she should have known better.
She likes to antagonize and tends to go after
what she’s not supposed to have.
When the arrogant bully meets the strong-willed
brat, it sparks an illicit attraction.
Together, they heat up the track with
longing and desire.
Everything about their chemistry is wrong.
So why does it feel so right?
She’s a hurdle in his way and, dear God does
he want to jump her.
Will she be worth the risk or
will he fall flat on his face?
***The characters in this book are of legal age.***

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
There's just something about taboo treats by K Webster that makes me really crave them. Makes me want to keep reading, even though i know that they will be short and sweet. While i had read a few of them, i wish i had so that i could have seen all of the characters that were presented in this book - although many of them i had already met, only, not in the same order.
Just like many of her taboo treat novels, this was short and sweet, and straight to the point. It didn't feel as such though. It still felt like a full length novel that was everything any reader who has no limits would love. Again, as this author mentions, the characters are of legal age, even if River is in high school - she's 18, with a father that merits a huge throat punch, and a coach that's been burned by his ex girlfriend who happens to have cheated on him with the guidance counselor from the same school.
So many things are right with this book, some that readers might have troubles with, but for me, oh yeah, give me more and i'll love you forever. This is one of the main reasons why i keep coming back to K Webster's books - they push the envelope on so many subjects that i can't wait to read more from her, even if i have to reread books over and over again until the next published book.
