Hands down, i did not see that twist come in any shape or form. Clarissa Wild absolutely had me guessing until the very end what was the backstory to the current story and just when i thought i had it all figured out, the rug was pulled from underneath my feet jut to prove me wrong. Who would have thought that Hyun Song, the woman who left within the first days (if not hours) of the Indecent/Wicked Bride games had a side no one would have guessed - i know i wouldn't have thought it of her. Having been sold to a monster by her parents, Hyun is degraded, humiliated and abused by her husband in ways she never imagined one day she had had enough and leaves him, never to return, only a mysterious man begins to stalk her, eliciting feelings of desire, fright and indecisiveness, especially when she begins to wonder if he's working with her husband who seemed to have found her.
Holy buckets, hold on to your pants because you'll be left just as confused as i was - do i want my very own stalker? Or better yet, is it even sane to want one? More than once i asked myself if Drake had a link to Max, and later on decided i didn't really care. I couldn't put the book down and didn't want to either as it kept me at the edge of my seat from the very first chapter. Wow!

I said it once and I'll keep saying it: she is one amazing story teller and knows how to captivate her reader's attention and make them want to beg for more. In an attempt to find the perfect woman who could handle all of their quirks and darkness, three brothers hold a 'game' with nine women that will last three weeks with some of the best prizes if they can make it through all of the obstacles they are faced with. Tempted by the amount of the cash prize, Naomi believes catching Max's eye will be a walk in the park until she realizes that she's not the only one whose attention was piqued by the idea behind the games.
Wicked Bride Games isn't for the faint of heart - it's dark, sadistic and wrong in so many ways that it feels like watching an accident on the road. You know you need to look away but you just can't help but look anyways. I've read quite a few novels by Clarissa Wild ever since I found out about her, but this one has to be the most fascinating so far and quite honestly, I can't wait to read more in this series to get a better inside look at the two remaining brothers and contestants.
