I'm a fan of MC genre novels because the possibilities of what the members do and how they act always depends on the image action of the author. Nancy Haviland's Steel Jackals MC series, more specifically Blind Faith (although I did get the opportunity to read the first instalment of the series), takes all of the best aspects of what I love from MCs and highlights them in her novel ~ the suspense, the mystery, the drugs, the illegal activities, the ability to get down and dirty to double cross someone you thought was a friend, and of course, the protectiveness that these men and women have for their mates, willing to go and do just about anything to save them if need be. Following the story of Tish and Josh after everything that they've been through, Blind Faith starts off a few years later, testing our couple as they're thrown into troubles after troubles after the problems that Tish's mother creates.
I absolutely enjoyed watching this couple work together and excel at dealing with each new obstacle that threatens their relationship. To watch Josh become the overprotective man that I saw in Blind Devotion was breath taking, and how they stood by one another no matter what happened was amazing. I loved how Nancy Haviland brought her characters to life, allowing me to see them come to life in my mjnd's eye without any troubles whatsoever. Will I be reading more from this author in the future? Absolutely, without a question!
