My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Author: Kathy Coopmans
This was the first time i've had the chance to read a novel written by Kathy Coopmans, and my only regret is not having started from the first book in the series. Kathy Coopmans has a habit of making me rethink what i think of her characters all throughout the book when i had first thought that i had them figured out. Just like Jude, the man that i pegged as a man unable to change his ways, to really believe his own words and not be able to be part of the world. But then, out comes Vivian, who makes him feel things he hadn't felt in so long and the world seemed brighter for it. The way these two met had no strings attached, a one night stand, and what i loved about it, is that at the last minute, thoughts about one another made one night into much longer than that.
Too bad i hadn't had a chance to get my hands on this series so much sooner, because quite frankly, Vivian and Jude had me reading faster than i could have ever imagined, wanting to find out as soon as possible how they would end: would it become something real and long term? Or would the one night stand with the ever present images in their minds, as far as it'll go? I couldn't believe all the things that happened and my opinions kept changing so often, that it's any wonder that i didn't get any whiplash!! I can't wait to read more from Kathy Coopmans because she stunned me and made me a fan to her works!
