I absolutely loved this book! I read the previous book, Merciless, but I had a feeling that Willow Winters would kick you in the gut when you least expect and that she did. Very well too.
It`s dark. It`s mysterious. And so very delicious. Her characters make no apologies for being the way that they are and they sure as all heck don`t make any excuses for their upbringing – it was literally a kill or be killed situation and I enjoyed that maybe a little too much, but that, I won`t apologize for neither.
There was just something about this story that made me want to know the conclusion – to find out everything there is to know about them. Will we get to know the brothers` stories? Will we find out how this war ends? So many questions, and quite honestly, not the same as those that I had in the previous instalment.
Just seeing how intense Heartless became after Merciless, i`m almost afraid to know where this author is going to go with the third instalment, but damn, i`m ready for it – so bring it on!!
