Immortal Match Makers, Book #1

Seven days to go from lethal immortal assassin to Prince Charming? Not likely. Demigod Andrus Gray may look like every woman’s dream, but when it comes to charm, he sees no point pretending: He has none and makes no apologies for it. Behaving nicely hasn’t made him the deadly assassin he is today. But is that really the reason he’s still single? The Goddess Cimil—owner of Immortal Matchmakers, Inc.—thinks yes. So when she foresees a mate in Andrus’s near future, she’s determined to make the match happen. That means hiring aspiring actress Sadie Townsend to help the barbarian “act” a little more civilized. But are seven days really enough? And why does the idea of seeing Sadie everyday excite him more than meeting his mate? (STAND ALONE NOVEL)

I have no idea why I waited so long to get my hands on Mimi Jean Pamfiloff's books. Holy mother of buckets of water, God Of Wine was nothing like I expected and I will be reading it again and again, it was that captivating. I've read novels including (or about) Gods and yet, God Of Wine had the full package: sexyness, excitement, drama, humour and enough supernatural to keep me at the edge of my seat. Acan and Margarita are completely different and their relationship was a match I never would have expected and yet, their differences are what made them perfect for one another.

I loved watching this couple try to figure out how they could make things work and to overcome the many obstacles they faced, and there were many. God Of Wine was and is exactly what I look forward in the genre and Mimi Jean Pamfiloff nailed it for certain. Now, all I need to do is go back and read the rest of this series and let myself be taken through another journey that is certain to take my breath away. I can't wait to read more by this author.
