She hates him and his big head.
He likes her and her big t*ts.

She hates him because she somehow ends up naked every time she sees him.
He likes her because she somehow ends up naked every time he sees her.

She hates him because the big oaf knocked her up with his kid.
He likes her because she’s carrying his child.

She hates the way he gets inside her head.
He likes the way she lets him see glimpses of her heart.

Andie: I hate you.
Roman: I know…but I’m going to change that.

***This is book two in the series. It is best if you read book one first to fully understand this couple’s story.***

It’s the start of nothing good.
I fired off a storm of raunchy text messages…to the wrong number.
And he replied.
Him: Show me a picture.
Him: Tell me your name.
Why does the lure of anonymity have me craving to indulge a stranger?

It’s the start of everything right.
I received a slew of text messages…when everything in my life was wrong.
And she made me laugh again.
Her: You’re probably a creeper.
Her: Possibly a stalker.
Why do I have the overwhelming need to find this stranger who saved me and make her mine?

Him: Take a chance with me.
Her: This is crazy.
Him: I need to see you.
Her: What are we doing?
Him: We’re about to find out.

Goddamn those t!ts

I don't think i've ever laughed as much as i did when i read hate 2 Lovers, and that's saying a lot considering that i read K Webster and J.D. Hollyfield's Text 2 Lovers before getting my hands on this book. i'm pretty sure i turned more than a few heads (and insulted more than i can count) when i suddenly burst out laughing randomly without a word and then made as though nothing had happened. I had met Andie and Roman in the first novel, and of course when we got to see them, really just the two of them, at the end of the first book in the series, i couldn't wait to read the second part and what an amazing thrill it was. I'm honestly more than happy that i waited and read every single page of their story. The anger and the hurt that Andie held on to ever since her father left and left her mother to die of a broken heart was heart wrenching, but more breath taking was seeing just how far Roman will go to make her happy, to see what makes her tick and especially to make all her dreams come true, the cherry on the sundae.

I won't lie. I did get frustrated. For both of them because no matter how hard Roman tried, it just seemed he couldn't get a break. Andie's insecurities more often than not would come rearing its ugly head and would ruin the best of plans. At the same time, i could honestly feel all the hurt, the anger and the pain of being betrayed pour out of the pages. It was literally tangible. And i couldn't deny that one single bit. Albeit all their problems and differences, they said it best: they are perfect together, and they truly were.
My favourite parts? Seeing every single aspect of being pregnant be written in black and white but with that hilarious twist. The gas. The bloating. The hunger. The mood swings. But damn was i ever jealous that that woman never got morning sickness, because mine lasted 6 miserable months! I can't praise this duo enough, i truly can't. i can, however, squeal and keep recommending the 2 Lovers series like nobody's business since as funny as it was, it was heartwarming, sexy as all hell and especially, more believable than i'd care to think.
