THE FINAL BOOK IN THE TRILOGY!

Safe in the ivory tower...

Gabriel Miller swears he'll keep me safe. Enemies lurk outside, waiting to strike. An army held back by these walls.

Except some animal instinct warns me the danger is much closer. It's already here. Is Gabriel my protector or my enemy? Is this house a castle or a cage?

There's nowhere for me to go, no one left for me to trust.

No escape from a past determined to capture its prize.

The price of survival...

Gabriel Miller swept into my life like a storm. He tore down my father with cold retribution, leaving him penniless in a hospital bed. I quit my private all-girl's college to take care of the only family I have left.

There's one way to save our house, one thing I have left of value.

My virginity.

A forbidden auction...

Gabriel appears at every turn. He seems to take pleasure in watching me fall. Other times he's the only kindness in a brutal underworld.

Except he's playing a deeper game than I know. Every move brings us together, every secret rips us apart. And when the final piece is played, only one of us can be left standing.

The power of pleasure…

Gabriel Miller took everything from me. My family. My innocence. My home. The only thing I have left is the determination to get back what’s mine.

He thinks he’s beaten me. He thinks he’s won. What he doesn’t realize is that every pawn has the chance to become a queen.

And the game has only just begun.

THE KNIGHT is book two in the Endgame series from New York Times bestselling author Skye Warren about revenge and seduction in the game of love.

Title: The Castle
Author: Skye Warren

The last book in the Endgame trilogy was nothing like i could have expected. It was more. It gave me the conclusion and all the answers to my questions, my indecision as to what to make of these characters that had captivated me to a point to wanting to have more from them, but most of all, it still made my heart race with the excitement of what made Gabriel and Avery so tempting. Skye Warren, if nothing else, knows exactly how to take her words and make them unforgettable. To take two people and even though their story will span out a few tomes, it never gets old, it doesn't get boring and neither would any of the books leave dissatisfied, as though you're obligated to keep reading to find out what makes them tick. Sometimes we (or maybe it's just me) tend to get scared that the things we fell in love with the characters, the dark side, the impulsiveness and the dominance, or maybe even their complete ability to give themselves freely to another will get changed as a series will come along, but i was more than thrilled to realize that those things were still ever present with Gabriel and Avery, even in The Castle, no matter that enemies they can't always see is always on the other side of the wall or the corner, ready to pounce and destroy what they have.

Needless to say that i loved the third and final (maybe? I'm not sure, the possibilities are so incredibly endless these days that i'm almost hoping to see them again in the future) book of the Endgame series. It had just about everything that i look forward in my books as of lately. Suspense. Angst. Drama. Abundance of sexyness. Darkness. I could keep going, but then it just might be redundant after a time and i'm sure that we all get it. It's the type of read that you should read the entire series to get a better feel of it, to really understand who and what Gabriel and Avery are, what makes them tick and what made them stay by each other's sides throughout everything they went through. Will i re-read this series? Absolutely! I have a feeling that i missed a few things when i first went through the stories and that a second time will simply give me a better understanding of what this series means to me.
