The Initiation The Initiation by Kailee Reese Samuels
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Title: The Initiation
Author: Kailee Reese Samuels

If there's one thing that i can expect from Kailee Reese Samuels when she writes a story, it's to find an adventure that i never expected. To fall in love with her characters over and over again, and to finally get another piece of the puzzle that i didn't know i was missing. I thought i knew who Sal Raniero was, where he came from and the type of man that he was, but The Initiation takes on his story and how he got the opportunity to become a member of Juliet. I also got the chance to find who the important players at Juliet were since i had met a few in the Juliet novel but didn't really know how much of an impact they had, and trust me, they have the biggest impact ever.

Sal loves women. There's no denying that. But the way that Kailee Reese Samuels describes him, you finally understand why he loves them, and it makes sense. You can't help but get closer to him and be curious as to why he's more than willing to hide his relationships that impact him the most. Of course, you also get curious to find out what happens to these relationships because, if you've followed my reviews for Kailee you know i read her books all helter skelter, they seem to disappear for a while. Then again, you also know that something stronger happens between Kaci and Sal - their story just isn't over, because trust me, their chemistry doesn't come close to what he has with either Selene, Kate or Anna.

The way that Kailee Reese Samuels explains the many aspects of BDSM makes it beautiful, makes it real and that's what it is. Yes, there are things that so many don't understand, but here we have an author that breaks it apart and makes it easy to get it, to really get it. I finished this book a week ago, and had to step back to think about my review because it's getting increasingly difficult to truly describe how i feel about these books because sometimes words don't seem to be enough. I wish they were, but it never seems like it can accurately express just how much i love her books and i know that i'll be following her for as long as she keeps writing these amazing stories that you can't help but want to be part of their lives (and of course, if possible, i would follow her even after she stops writing, just to find out how and where she gets her stories... stalker free of course ;) )
