Blush Pink Rose by Fawn Bailey
Find out how our dark, twisted love story began...
HARLOW
Before I became Rose, I was Harlow Granger.
A young, naive ballet dancer who dreamed of standing center stage.
A girl who dreamed of dancing and boys I could never have.
Darkness was waiting for me.
Thorn was ready, but I wasn't.
Too young, too innocent.
But not for long.
THORN
Before I became Rose's Thorn, I was a man with a purpose.
A man who met a little girl and decided to prepare her for a dark future.
Call me sick if you want to. Call me depraved. Call me insane.
You don't know the half of it yet.
Get a sneak peek into Rose and Thorn's lives before the series officially begins!
Reading order for Rose and Thorn:
Blush Pink Rose (FREE prequel)
Blood Red Rose (Book 1)
Pure White Rose (Book 2)
Last Broken Rose (Book 3)

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This
is new. Isabella Starling, as you might know (or maybe not), is amongst
one of my favourite authors. In 2017, she made it to my top 5 favourite
authors and her books - mesmerizing. So when she decided to separate
her books into new categories, i was curious. I mean, she created
Isabella Darling for her sweet and adorable stories. And now, she's
created a new alter ego - Fawn Bailey for all her dark novels while
Isabella Starling are for her angsty and dark novels like Pet and Peep
Show.
Needless
to say, i jumped on Fawn Bailey like a couponer looking for the next
best sale. It's dirty. It's mesmerizing. And it's insanely
inappropriate, but at this point, i really can't bring myself to care.
Blushing
Pink Rose is the prequel to Fawn Bailey's newest series. It's short - i
read it in just under 30 minutes, so it gives you pretty good idea who
Harlow is and how she's survived so many years after the death of her
mother. Her life is dancing. It's become a core principle in her -
encompassing her life, dreams and goals. It's everything. And then
there's Thorn. We don't know much about him other than the fact that
he's got his eye on Harlow and he's planning something with her.
The
fact that this is a prequel makes all the suspense all that much more
entrancing. It's not what you would expect from Isabella Starling -
honestly, i don't think i've ever seen her write a prequel to any of her
series, so this is was more than a little interesting. There was
murder, suspense, darkness and hope all rolled into one. It'll be
something to watch this author develop her series from this one taste of
what she will develop, and my only hope is that through Fawn Bailey,
Isabella Starling will unleash 'the dark side' (star wars pun not
intended!! Lol)
