Cartel by Lili St-Germain
The first full length Gypsy Brothers novel from the smash hit author Lili St. Germain.
How much is a life worth?
I grew up in Colombia, the daughter of a wealthy drug lord. I lived a life of extravagance, until one day a drug run went horribly wrong and everything came crashing down around us.
I was given away. A payment for a debt. The Gypsy Brothers Motorcycle Club became my new owners, and I did everything I could to survive.
But falling in love with the man who owned me wasn't part of the plan...

Cartel by Lili St. Germain
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Breathless. Speechless. Hungry for more. That was all I could do after finishing Cartel by Lili St-Germain. It was a hair rising experience that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world. It was dark, suspenseful, full of action and erotically romantic that I finished it in one sitting, not wanting to miss out on Dorian and Mariana's strange relationship. I read the Gypsy Brother series and I came to hate Dornan Ross for what he did to Juliette and was thrilled as I watched her exact her revenge. What surprised me the most was to grudgingly come to respect the man who was raised by the kingpin of the Il Sangue drug cartel and then want him to find his happily ever after albeit everything. Finally we meet the man behind the Gypsy Brothers and we're created, later becoming the MC club we know in the first series.
I'm certain that my heart sped with each encounter between Mariana and Dornan - even if their meeting was nothing short of surprising considering the circumstances, I really wanted to see Mariana survive. Not the type where you manage to live another day, but the kind where life is a drug and although with its challenges, something to look forward to, and for this girl, that only time happened around Dornan. I can't get over just how amazing this introduction to the series was made and I know I'll be reading the next in the series very soon to find out what happens with the second instalment.
