Hung by J.L. Beck
My stepbrother Zane is hung. How do I know? Well, I’ve slept with him, of course, and on more than one occasion at that.
I thought what we were doing was harmless, until our families found out and threatened to cut all ties with us.
Except it’s too late for that now because I’m pregnant with his baby, and we can’t seem to keep our hands off each other. The temptation is too great and knowing that we're breaking the rules seems to add a high to our secret love affair.
If our parents find out, all hell is going to break loose, but how can I hide the fact that I’m not only in love with my stepbrother, but also pregnant with his baby?
And to think that I thought him being hung was the biggest surprise of all.
-Instalove certified with an alpha male, strong heroine, and a secret love affair that will leave everyone begging for more. This book comes with a HEA that's sugary sweet, and enough steamy scenes to melt your Kindle.-

Title: Hung
Author: JL Beck
I love the ideas that JL Beck puts to paper. Some are very unique, while others take a theme and then she puts in her own spin to it, capturing my attention for as long as her story lasts. This stepbrother type story, which is one of my guilty pleasures, telling the story of Zane and Brooke who were friends long before his father and her mother got married. Avant had moved in together in a small cottage by the college they both attended, their relationship evolved until they fell in love. A love that is threatened by Zane's father and a secret that Brooke is forced to keep to herself...
My biggest regret with this book is that it simply wasn't long enough. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy short stories as much as I love my 100-200 and even 400+ paged full length novels, but Hung, for all the good it had, was missing so much... the big parts were there ~ I understood why Zane and Brooke's parents were as they were, just like I understood why his father threatened her, same goes with why Brooke decided what she did. And yet, I still felt like I was missing something ~ little details that would make the story bigger (if that makes any sense) and less as though it was rushed. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of JL Beck's and can't get enough of the stories she comes up with, even have my personal favourites that still continue to be my favourites, and while Hung might not be one of them, I know it has the potential to be one.
