Lauren Blakely is possibly one of these authors that will continuously surprise me because i never know what kind of story she'll come up with to surprise me. Of course, i'm also a fan of the 1001 Dark Nights line up, so when i saw that there was a release for both, i knew i had to jump on it! What a story it was! I was surprised by just how... well, modern the story was. Let me tell you... there weren't some acronyms that even i didn't now and i try to keep myself up to date on what's new considering text talk is so popular and i have 8 year old at home.
I can't count the number of times that i laughed out loud at Dylan's enthusiasm at the most mundane things and at how Evie had the most unexpected 'gifts' that even impressed me@ needless to say that i really enjoyed this book and i look so very forward to Lauren Blakely's next release because i love being surprised by her ability to bring to life the most unlikely of subjects and making me love them!
